Ten Canadian Colour Prints

In 1927, Phillips issued his first portfolio of prints. Entitled Ten Canadian Colour Prints, the portfolio consisted of good-sized colour prints, and was produced in an edition of 250. This, of course, meant that 2,500 proofs had to be produced! All of these proofs were printed on Goyu paper.

Phillips invited the Canadian poet Duncan Campbell Scott to write an Introduction, and he himself provided a text entitled The Wood Block Colour Print.
